The Ultimate Ballpark Access

What is eCash?
The eCash feature allows you to load money to your Card via your online account which can then be used for all of your purchases at Nationals Park. eCash provides fast, safe and secure cashless transactions at concessions and retail locations throughout the ballpark. For the 2014 season, 40 locations throughout the ballpark will feature eCash only lines.

How do I add eCash to my card?
Once you have logged into your Ultimate Ballpark Access account, select "Top Up" from the menu on the left side of the screen. From this page you will have the option to add money to any one of your cards using the "Top Up" function. This will redirect you to a secure page where you will enter your credit or check card info.

What methods of payment can I use to top up my account?
Credit or Check cards can be used via the Top Up and Auto Top Up functions.

How quickly will the Top Up amount be reflected in my balance?
You will immediately see your Top Up amount reflected in your card balance. Auto Top Ups will not occur mid transaction, but will be triggered once the transaction is complete.

What is Auto Top Up? Should I sign up for it?
Signing up for Auto Top Up will allow you to maximize your eCash benefits. Easy to turn on and off, Auto Top Up links your account to your credit or check card. Once your card balance falls below the minimum threshold that you specify, funds are automatically added to your card. Auto Top Up participants also receive up to $200 in overdraft protection for negative balances.

How do I enroll in Auto Top Up?
Once you have logged into your Ultimate Ballpark Access account, select "Auto Top Up" from the left hand menu options. From this page you will have the option to enroll in the Auto Top Up feature. When you select this feature, you will be asked to select the threshold that will prompt the Auto Top Up, as well as the amount you would like added every time your card balance dips below that threshold. Auto Top Up can be applied to any one of your cards.

How can I change my Auto Top Up payment details?
From the "Auto Top Up" page, select the "Configure Auto Top Up" icon and you will be able to amend your minimum threshold, Top Up amount, and credit/check card information. You can also disable Auto Top Up from this page at any time.

Is there a minimum/maximum balance?
Your card can only have $1,500 loaded to it at any time. You can have an unlimited amount of money within your account, and anytime you have excess money in your account and your card balance falls below $1,500, funds will be deducted from that excess amount and added to your card balance to return it to $1,500.

What is Bonus eCash?
Bonus eCash is the value added to your card balance by the Nationals.

How is Bonus eCash different from eCash?
Bonus eCash expires on December 31st, 2014, while eCash does not expire.

Where can I use my eCash?
eCash is accepted at all concessions stands and team stores throughout Nationals Park.

How do I make a purchase using my eCash?
To make a purchase using your eCash, present your card to the cashier as you would any other form of payment. The amount due will be deducted from your account.

What if the balance on my card will not cover the total amount of my purchase?
Unless you are enrolled in Auto Top Up, this will result in a split transaction and you will need to present another form of payment to cover the difference. Reduce the chances of experiencing a split transaction by enrolling in Auto Top Up.

How do I check my balance?
Check your balance online at nationals.com/access. Your account balance will be displayed on your homepage, while individual card balances can be seen on the balance page.

How do I view my transaction history?
From your account home page, select "Transaction History" from the left hand menu options. Enter a date range and click "Search" to view your transaction history.

Q. What is The Ultimate Ballpark Access?
A. The Ultimate Ballpark Access is the new, one stop shop for Nationals Season Plan Holders to manage their tickets, ballpark access and benefits.

Q. How do I log into my account?
A. When you receive your Cards in early March, you will be able to login straight from the nationals.com homepage. Click on The Ultimate Ballpark Access button on the nationals.com homepage and you will be directed straight to the login page. Enter your MLB login and password and you will be directed to verify your first-time user information and accept the terms and conditions. In the first-time user section, it will ask you to enter the Card number and member ID located on the front of your Card.

Q. What happened to My Nationals Tickets?
A. My Nationals Tickets is no longer necessary. Everything needed for a Season Plan Holder to manage their tickets, benefits and access can now be done from their Ultimate Ballpark Access account.

Q. If I share my season plan with partners, how do I get them their tickets if everything is loaded onto my Cards?
A. The Ultimate Ballpark Access allows you to set up partners with their own online accounts and personalized access Cards. Once your partners have activated their online accounts, you can distribute any denomination of your own seats to them. When you distribute a seat to a partner, it will be removed from one of your Cards and is automatically assigned to your partner's Card carrying the same seat location.

Q. If I have more than one seat as a part of my season plan, do I receive more than one Card?
A. Yes. In early March, you will receive your Season Plan Holder package that will include your Cards. For every seat in your plan, you will receive one Card. Each Card will be printed with your name, account number and the seat location.

Q. Do I have to setup partners in order to give my seats to friends, family and clients?
A. The partner feature is meant for our Season Plan Holders who share significant portions of their Season Plans (10 or more games) with other fans. If you are looking to send seats to clients, family or friends for an individual game, emailing those seats via your online account is both faster and easier than setting them up as partners.

Q. What are my options if I can't make it to a game? Do the Nationals still offer exchange and resale opportunities?
A. The Nationals do still support exchange and resale opportunities. If you know what game you won't be able to attend ahead of time, our Future Exchange Program allows you to turn in those seats for seats of equivalent value to another future game. Future exchanges must be placed 72 hours in advance of both the game being turned in and the game being requested.

Q. If I purchase additional seats or parking, do those get loaded to my Cards? What about Rewards Tickets?
A. Only the tickets within your Season Plan are loaded to your Cards. All parking passes will be sent in the Season Plan Holder package as colored passes. All other additional tickets, rewards tickets and exchanged tickets will arrive as print-at home emails.

Q. What if I lose one or more of my Cards?
A. There is a $10 fee for lost or stolen Cards. If you lose or forget your Card on your way to the ballpark, please come see us at Ticket Services and we will supply you with a ticket to that game. Once you are inside the ballpark, you can come to the Season Plan Holder Lounge at section 137 to address any Card or online issues.

Q. Can I get commemorative paper tickets for any game?
A. Yes. You can purchase commemorative tickets for any game at the Advanced Ticket Office located inside the ballpark.

Q. Why are there three separate redemption levels for the 2014 RCR Program?
A. In 2014, the RCR Program will feature dynamic point pricing similar to our single game ticket sales. Weekday, weekend and Prime dates all have different price points as shown in the redemption calendar within your account.

Q. Will there be any restrictions to when I can redeem my points?
A. In 2014, our Season Plan Holders will be able to redeem their points as early as 30 days prior to the desired game, and as late as 72 hours prior to that date.

Also, from your Account home page, you can sign up for automatic debits from your designated credit or check card once the balance on your Card(s) falls below a certain amount ("Auto Top Up"). You may also change your method(s) of payment, check your balance, and view your transaction history.

The Nationals, at its sole discretion, may, from time to time, offer promotional dollars ("Bonus eCash"). Bonus eCash can be used just like the eCash you load onto your Card, except that: (a) Bonus eCash cannot be used in any transaction unless and until you have depleted all non-promotional eCash stored on your Card and; (b) any Bonus eCash remaining on your Card will expire on December 31st at 11:59 pm of each year.

Non-promotional eCash that you load onto your Card does not expire and will roll over in your Account from year-to-year.

The total value on each Card, including eCash and Bonus eCash ("Card Balance") may not exceed $1,500 on any given calendar day. Any value in excess of this amount will be stored in ones Account until the funds may be loaded onto his or her Card without exceeding the $1,500 cap.

  • Eligibility and Activation Requirements

Visit the Program Website, contact your account representative, or call 202-675-NATS to check your eligibility for eCash and Bonus eCash.

In order to add eCash, you must first log into and activate your Account. To be eligible to receive Bonus eCash, you must 1) load a minimum of $50, but no more than $200, of eCash on the Card; and 2) enroll in Auto Top Up via your Account page. The Auto Top Up feature allows you to automatically add a chosen value to your Card from your credit or check card whenever the Card Balance falls below a chosen minimum threshold. The maximum Auto Top Up amount is $200 in one transaction. Only two Auto Top Ups are permitted within any given calendar day.

Account Members wishing to add eCash and to not receive Bonus eCash are not required to enroll in Auto Top Up or load a minimum starting value. An Account Member may not manually load eCash more than twice in any given calendar day and the total amount of eCash manually loaded in any given calendar day cannot exceed $500. Non-promotional eCash may not be transferred to other Accounts or to Partners.

  • Receiving and Distributing Bonus eCash

In the event the Primary Account Holder is eligible to receive Bonus eCash, the Primary must specify upon account activation how Bonus eCash shall be distributed within that Account. Bonus eCash may be distributed in one of the following ways: 1) 100% of Bonus eCash distributed to Primary's Account; or  2) Bonus eCash divided equally among all Partners currently active on Primary's Account.. Once distribution preferences have been set by the Primary Account Holder, Bonus eCash will be distributed to Primary and/or Partners in accordance with the Primary's distribution preferences. The Primary and Partners may allocate dispersed Bonus eCash to Cards under the same Account that are in his/her control that are enrolled in the Auto Top Up feature. If Primary fails to specify distribution preference, Bonus eCash will be applied to Primary's Account ONLY and may not be transferred to Partners. Bonus eCash may not be distributed across Accounts. Instructions on how to transfer Bonus eCash can be found on your Account page. Once Bonus eCash is distributed and allocated to designated Cards, they may not be recalled, altered, or further transferred by the Primary, the Partner, or the Nationals.

From time to time, Bonus eCash may be awarded during the game season through specific promotions. These awards may not be transferred to any other Account or Partner, but they may be distributed over some or all Cards within the Account to which the award was given.

Through their Account, Account Members may add the "Auto-Replenishment" feature, which will cause available Bonus eCash in ones Account to reload nightly onto selected Cards, up to the daily limit of $1,500.

  • Using eCash and Bonus eCash

eCash and Bonus eCash may be used to make purchases at the majority of portable and fixed food and beverage concession stands and merchandise Team Stores at the Ballpark.   Additional concession and vendor locations in the Ballpark may become eligible for eCash and Bonus eCash purchases in the future. eCash and Bonus eCash cannot be used to purchase, among other things, tickets or parking passes.

To make a purchase, simply present your Card to the cashier as you would any other form of payment. Upon your purchase, the amount due will be deducted from your Card. In the event your Card Balance will not cover the total amount of your purchase, a "split transaction" will occur and you will need to present another form of payment at the time of your purchase to cover the difference.

"Split transactions" may be avoided by signing up for Auto Top Up. Auto Top Up participants receive a $200 overdraft protection for purchases. If a transaction is greater than the Card Balance, the transaction will be processed using the overdraft protection. Immediately following the completion of the transaction, the Card Balance will Auto Top Up to the minimum threshold. For example, if your minimum Auto Top Up threshold is set to $20 and the previous transaction created a -$5 balance, then the card would employ Auto Top Up to $25, resulting in a new card balance of $20.

Overdraft protection is not available for any Card that has not selected Auto Top Up.

Use of the Card for purchases of goods or services is subject to an Account Member's available Card Balance and to these Terms and Conditions.  Visit the Program Website or call 202-675-NATS to check your Card Balance.

6.     Earn Reward Points

Points are earned in accordance with the Points Schedule set forth below. If the Primary Account Holder emailed or shared the ticket with a Partner on the Account, the Partner is eligible to receive the Plan Holder Attendance Points, not the Primary Account Holder. Scanning Game Rewards, Print-at-home tickets obtained through the Season Ticket Exchange Program, or any single game tickets purchased shall not qualify the Primary Account Holder or Partner to receive any Plan Holder Attendance Points

5.     eCash and Bonus eCash

You may be able to use your Card to make certain purchases in the Ballpark. If you are eligible, you can load cash ("eCash") onto your Card using a valid credit or check card by accessing your Account through the Program Website or through the mobile site on your mobile device. Also, from your Account home page, you can sign up for automatic debits from your designated credit or check card once the balance on your Card(s) falls below a certain amount ("Auto Reload").

To be eligible to receive Bonus eCash, you must load a minimum of $10, but no more than $200, of eCash on the Card. The Auto Reload feature allows you to automatically add a chosen value to your Card from your credit or check card whenever the Card Balance falls below a chosen minimum threshold.

The maximum Auto Reload amount is $200 in one transaction. Only two Auto Reloads are permitted within any given calendar day. A Participant may not manually load eCash more than twice in any given calendar day and the total amount of eCash manually loaded in any given calendar day cannot exceed $500.

  • Receiving and Distributing Bonus eCash

From time to time, Bonus eCash may be awarded through specific promotions. Unless otherwise specified by the Washington Nationals, these awards may not be transferred to any other Account or Partner, but they may be distributed over some or all Cards within the Account to which the award was given.

Through their Account, Participants may add the "Auto-Replenishment" feature, which will cause available Bonus eCash in ones Account to reload nightly onto selected Cards, up to the daily limit of $1,500.

In the event the Washington Nationals specifies that a particular award of Bonus eCash may be share, the terms of this paragraph shall apply. Any Primary Account Holder who is eligible to receive Bonus eCash that can be shared must specify how the Bonus eCash shall be distributed within that Account before the Bonus eCash is awarded. Bonus eCash may be distributed in one of the following ways: 1) 100% of Bonus eCash distributed to Primary's Account; or 2) Bonus eCash divided equally among all Partners currently active on Primary's Account. Once distribution preferences have been set by the Primary Account Holder, Bonus eCash will be distributed to Primary and/or Partners in accordance with the Primary's distribution preferences. The Primary and Partners may allocate dispersed Bonus eCash to Cards under the same Account that are in his/her control. If the Primary fails to specify distribution preference, Bonus eCash will be applied to Primary's Account ONLY and may not be transferred to Partners. Bonus eCash may not be distributed across Accounts. Instructions on how to share Bonus eCash can be found on your Account page. Once Bonus eCash is distributed and allocated to designated Cards, it may not be recalled, altered, or further transferred or shared by the Primary, the Partner, or the Nationals.

"Split transactions" may be avoided by signing up for Auto Reload. Auto Reload participants receive a $200 overdraft protection for purchases. If a transaction is greater than the Card Balance, the transaction will be processed using the overdraft protection. Immediately following the completion of the transaction, the Card Balance will Auto Reload to the minimum threshold. For example, if your minimum Auto Reload threshold is set to $20 and the previous transaction created a -$5 balance, then the card would employ Auto Reload to $25, resulting in a new card balance of $20.

Overdraft protection is not available for any Card that has not selected Auto Reload.

Use of the Card for purchases of goods or services is subject to a Participant's available Card Balance and to these Terms and Conditions. Visit the Program Website or call 202-675-NATS to check your Card Balance.

  • Discounts and Bonus eCash Back

A Participant will receive a discount each time he/she purchases full- priced merchandise at participating merchandise Team Stores at the Ballpark. 6.     Earn Reward Points

Points are earned in accordance with the Points Schedule set forth below. The amount of Points earned by a Participant depends upon the size and type of Membership(s) and Plan(s) purchased by or licensed to the Participant in connection with the 2015 regular season. Participants may also earn Points by purchasing additional seats or suites and by using their Card(s) as set forth below.

Primary Account Holders may now earn points by attending games in their Membership or Plan ("Attendance Points"). Attendance Points are earned in accordance with the Point Schedule set forth below each time the Primary Account Holder scans his/her Card for entry into Nationals Park for a game in his/her Membership or Plan. Scanning a print-at-home ticket, as opposed to the Card, also qualifies the Primary Account Holder to earn Attendance Points so long as the game is in his/her Membership or Plan. If the Primary Account Holder emailed or shared the ticket with a Partner on the Account, the Partner is eligible to receive the Attendance Points, not the Primary Account Holder. Scanning Game Rewards, Print-at-home tickets obtained through the Season Ticket Exchange Program, or any single game tickets purchased shall not qualify the Primary Account Holder or Partner to receive any Attendance Points

The Washington Nationals may, among other things: (a) increase or decrease the minimum number of Memberships or Plans required to participate in the Program, or increase or decrease the number of Points required to redeem a Red Carpet Reward (b) withdraw, limit, modify, or cancel any Red Carpet Reward; (c) limit the Red Carpet Rewards available; or (d) change Program benefits, conditions of participation, rules for earning, redeeming, retaining, or forfeiting Points, or rules governing the Program or the use of specific Red Carpet Rewards. Please check nationals.com/access frequently for updates to these Terms and Conditions.

If approved, the email will contain a print-at-home link, and the Participant must print each Reward Seat or Reward Pass, and bring it to the Ballpark on the relevant game date. Rewards Seats and Reward Passes will not be sent to Participants in any other way. Participants may change their email address on record in My Nationals Tickets by clicking the My Account tab.

Requests for Reward Suites for a particular game must be made a minimum of 7 business days prior to game date. Requests must be submitted at nationals.com/access. Within 3 business days of making a request for a Reward Suite, a Ticket Services Representative of the Washington Nationals will contact the requesting Participant to notify them of the status of their request and, if approved, send the Participant the contract that the Participant must sign in order to receive a Reward Suite. A Participant will not be permitted to redeem Points for a Reward Suite unless the Participant signs the contract with the Washington Nationals containing terms acceptable to the Washington Nationals. Reward Suite seats will be mailed to the Participant of record only.
