Season Ticket Benefits

Season ticket holders receive priority seating and retail discounts at selected merchandise stands and the team stores in Nationals Park.

Future Game Ticket Exchange Program

Season ticket holders may exchange any of their 2009 season tickets for a specific number of games based on their plan size. The designated future exchange games are listed below. Full season ticket holders can exchange their tickets for any or all of the 28 listed games, half season ticket holders can exchange for 14 of the 28 listed games and partial season ticket holders can exchange for 7 of the 28 listed games. For example: a partial plan account may exchange one (1) future game for the Sunday, May 3 game which constitutes one (1) exchange, therefore the account holder will have six (6) exchanges remaining.

  • Tickets may be placed in the drop box in the Ticket Services Office. Please allow a minimum of to (2) business days for processing. You may mail your tickets, after April 1, 2009, to the Washington Nationals Ticket Office, Ticket Exchange, 1500 S. Capitol St., SE, Washington, DC 20003. Exchanges by mail must be received by the Nationals at least 14 days prior to the date of the game being exchanged in order to allow time for processing.
  • Tickets must be placed in the drop box in the Ticket Services Office at least five (5) business days prior to both the game(s) being turned in and the game(s) for which the tickets are being exchanged. Exchanged tickets will be placed in Will Call if processed within 10 business days of the game. If tickets are returned to the Nationals at least 14 days prior to the exchange game, then the tickets will be mailed to the person requesting the exchange.
  • Tickets may be traded only once, and season tickets are traded on a ticket-for-ticket basis. Tickets will be exchanged at the same ticket price or at a lesser value, based on availability at the time the tickets are traded in. Locations are subject to availability, and refunds will not be given for downgrades. Additional payment is required when trading season ticket(s) for ticket(s) of greater value. Individual season ticket upgrades will be charged the single game price.
  • All ticket exchanges are final.

The Future Game Ticket Exchange Program is subject to change at the discretion of the Washington Nationals, with or without notice to the season ticket holder of record.

Information regarding the Future and Unused Ticket Exchange Program for Premium accounts can be found in the 2009 Premium Policies and Procedures Manual which will be sent to the Premium account holder of record.

Unused Game Ticket Exchange Program

Season ticket holders who do not attend scheduled games within their plan may exchange their unused tickets to games that have passed for the designated games listed below:

  • Mon., May 4, 7:05, HOU
  • Tues., May 19, 7:05, PIT
  • Wed., June 3, 7:05, SFG
  • Thurs., June 11, 4:35, CIN
  • Sun., July 26, 1:35, SDP
  • Tues., Aug. 4, 7:05, FLA
  • Wed., Aug. 19, 7:05, COL
  • Sun., Sept. 6, 1:35, FLA
  • Unused tickets must be exchanged five (5) business days in advance of the selected game. All exchanges are made on a ticket-for-ticket basis and will be placed in the best available seats in the Upper Gallery Level and/or the Upper Right Field Terrace at the time the tickets are returned to the Nationals for exchange, based on availability.
  • Season ticket holders may exchange up to eight (8) total tickets per game for each of the eight (8) designated unused ticket dates.
  • Tickets may be dropped off or mailed to the Nationals Box Office. To exchange unused tickets, please drop off the tickets, up to 8 total tickets per game, at the Nationals Park Box Office. Please indicate which of the eight (8) designated games you would like to exchange your tickets as well as your account information. Tickets must be placed in the drop box at the Ticket Services Office at least five (5) business days prior to the game that you wish to exchange your tickets. Exchanged tickets will be placed in Will Call if processed within 10 business days of the game. If tickets are dropped off with the Nationals at least 14 days prior to the exchange game, then the tickets will be mailed to the person requesting the exchange.

Ticket Resale Program

StubHub is the Official Secondary Market Ticket Provider for Major League Baseball and the Washington Nationals. It is a team-sanctioned, secure method for all season ticket holders to resell future game tickets. This program is available through nationals.com. Season Ticket Holders may post future game tickets for sale on the site, where other fans may browse through the posted offers and buy tickets. You may access this ticket resale program by visiting nationals.com.

Online Ticket Transfer

Ticket transfer is a simple and convenient means of allowing you to give your tickets to friends or colleagues. There is no more need to mail tickets or wait at the gate to meet your party. Just log in to your personal "My Nationals Ticket Account" to transfer your tickets by e-mail. Your own "My National Tickets Inventory" page will present a list of all games for which you hold tickets. Click on a month and select the tickets that you wish to transfer. Click the check box next to each ticket and click the "Transfer" button under the game list. Select a recipient to e-mail the tickets to and click "Send." You may enter a personal message, up to 255 characters, inviting the recipient to the game.

Ticket Transfer Buddies

Season Ticket Holders may designate friends, family, or associates as Ticket Transfer Buddies at no cost to the account holder or the recipient. Full Season Ticket Holders may designate four (4) free buddies, Half Season Ticket Holders may designate three (3) free buddies and Partial Season Ticket Holders may designate two (2) free buddies. All Season Ticket Holders may also elect to donate their tickets to MVP kids through the Ticket Transfer Program.

Complimentary Scoreboard Messages for Full Season Ticket Holders

During the 2009 season, all Full (82 game plan) Season Ticket Holders will be able to commemorate a special event, birthday or anniversary by displaying a message on the Nationals Park scoreboard during the end of the fourth inning at a Nationals home game! Full Season Ticket Holders will receive one (1) complimentary scoreboard message during the 2009 season. As an added bonus, all Lexus Presidents Club and PNC Diamond Club seat holders will receive up to six (6) complimentary messages and all Nationals Suite Holders will receive up to 11 complimentary scoreboard messages during the 2009 season.

Full Season Ticket Holders and Suite Holders should contact the Nationals Ticket Services Team by calling 202-675-6287, Option 1 and then Option 1 again to reserve their complimentary message(s). There are a limited number of messages available each game and messages are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Scoreboard Message requests must be submitted no later than five (5) business days prior to the date of the game. Messages will include one of three messages (Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary or The Nationals Welcome) followed by a customizable second line of a person's first and last name or a company name. (The customizable second line is limited to 30 characters including spaces and punctuation.)

Complimentary Ballpark Tours

The Nationals are happy to announce that 2009 Season Ticket Holders will receive complimentary tours of Nationals Park during the 2009 calendar year. Full Season Ticket Holders (82 game plan) will receive four (4) complimentary tours while Half (41 game plan) and Partial (21 game plan) Season Ticket Holders will receive two (2) complimentary tours per account. Our ballpark tours offer an exciting behind the scenes look at Nationals Park from the batting cages all the way up to the Shirley Povich Memorial Press Box.

Season Tickets Holders may call 202.675.6287, Option 1, and then Option 1 again and speak with a member of our Ticket Services Team to reserve their tour passes. The account holder of record must have a valid account number in order to book a complimentary tour. Only the account holder of record may reserve up to four (4) tour passes and tours are based on availability.

Free ESPN Zone Games

Show your 2009 Nationals MVP Card at the ESPN Zone Washington, DC and you will receive a complimentary game card good for two (2) free games per day at the ESPN Zone's Sports Arena. This offer is valid through December 31, 2009. Enjoy more than 10,000 square feet of interactive sports games and attractions, courtesy of ESPN Zone and the Washington Nationals. The ESPN Zone is located at the corner of 11th and E Streets, NW. The offer is non-transferable. One automatically renewing game card per Nationals MVP Card.
