TESTIMONIALS

From beginning to end, Nationals Destinations was committed to making sure I enjoyed this trip.  The entire weekend was flawlessly executed. It was the trip of a lifetime.

  • - Antoinette Merrill - Half/Partial Season Plan Holder

I knew that my 12 year old son’s expectations would likely be met, even though they were high.  I was more surprised that my expectations were exceeded.  The staff did an excellent job of being accessible and professional in making us feel special and like they actually cared about us having a great experience. So my son has a memory he'll never forget, and my expectations were exceeded.  I will strongly recommend a trip like this to other parents, and this won't be my last trip.  Great job and thank you.

This was a flawlessly planned, organized and executed trip.  The Nationals Destinations staff was enthusiastic, available and ensured an amazing and memorable experience.  Overall, a delightful experience that I would unhesitatingly recommend to ANY Nats fan!

National Destinations totally out did themselves. The Nationals took such care to make sure we were all happy and comfortable. The tour was amazing, the reception was wonderful, the trip was one we will do again! Nationals, you know how to do it right!

As season plan holders from day 1 of the Nationals, we have done many Nationals events.  The trip to Fenway was the most unique and satisfying activity we have attended.  The Nationals Destination staff did it all first class and offered unique access to both Fenway and a Nationals player, Danny Espinosa.  We look forward to visiting other parks with Nationals Destinations.

This was my first trip with FSM, but it certainly won't be my last!  PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE work with the Washington Nationals' management to arrange more trips in the future.  It was a great baseball experience!

  • - Steve Crime - Half/Partial Season Plan Holder

The attention to detail was what made this trip so special - from the boutique hotel to the one-of-a-kind ballpark tour to the inclusion of a baseball for the player's signature.  The staff seemed to think of everything and when you had a special request - they were quick to help and accommodate.  We'd definitely recommend a Nationals Destinations trip to others and would attend a future event in another city.

  • - Timothy Conway - Half/Partial Season Plan Holder

This was a flawless process from the time we indicated interest in the trip to the actual execution.  We give the HIGHEST possible rating to everyone involved in the organizational and logistical challenges.  Both were SUPERBLY executed!

The Nationals Destinations crew did a great job. Everything was very well organized and the agenda was full but his team made it seem seamless and the trip was spectacular. A great father/son experience! Sign me up for the next one, ASAP!! Thanks Kevin and Nate

The tour & extended tour was superb...an unforgettable experience. The meet-and-greet, etc. with Danny Espinosa was absolutely terrific. What a wonderful young man and great PR rep. for the Nat's. His patience & sincerity resonated with all in attendance. He made 78 more fans of his.....if they weren't already. We will recommend it to ALL our friends.

The meet and greet with Danny Espinosa was a highlight. Danny was courteous and informative. He treated us all with utmost courtesy and respect. He answered all our questions and never made us feel like stupid fans with dumb questions. He converted 78 people into his own private "Go, Danny,Go" cheering section from Coke Pavilion seats in Fenway.

Let me begin by recognizing the efforts of the Nationals Destinations phone representatives. As you can appreciate, before making the commitment to travel from Los Angeles and at significant cost, I had many questions in the weeks leading up to confirming the trip. I contacted the representatives numerous times by email and he invariably responded in a timely and informative manner. If it were not for their efforts I’m not sure that we would have booked the trip.

The Colonnade was an excellent choice as host hotel. The staff, rooms and amenities were all first class. We especially liked the fact that we could walk to Fenway from the hotel and thus pick up some Boston culture enroute.

The experience at Fenway itself was again top notch. The seats in the Coca Cola pavilion were great though I think one would be hard pressed to find a bad seat in the park (or is it “pawk”?). The tour on Saturday was outstanding. Visiting inside the Green Monster was an unforgettable experience and really gave you a sense of the history of Fenway. I really liked the tour guide who was obviously a died-in-the-wool Red Sox fan. I was going to ask him how many World Series rings the Sox have versus the Yankees but I just didn’t have the heart to. The aforementioned luncheon at the EMC Club hit the spot and getting Danny Espinosa to make an appearance was great. Visiting the press box, the “red seat” and other various sections of Fenway were really interesting and again brought the park so often seen on TV into perspective. Of course having the opportunity to watch batting practice from atop the Green Monster was tremendous. One observation that the wife and I had, though not directly related to your efforts, was the focus of the Fenway staff to keep the stadium clean. Before, during and after games we constantly saw staff cleaning every nook and cranny in an obvious effort to present Fenway in the best possible light.

As an aside, I have a friend here in Los Angeles who was born and raised in Boston and of course is a die-hard Red Sox fan to this day. He told me that I have done the Fenway experience like he never has. And speaking of Red Sox fans, we did not hear a single taunt or derisive comment all weekend, a testament to Boston hospitality.

In conclusion, the word that can best describe our trip to Boston is “perfect”. Nationals Destinations delivered on everything promised and more i.e. we really enjoyed the Fenway historical DVD that accompanied our tickets. We would be hard pressed to find anything at all to complain about……..oh all right, it rained on us a bit Friday evening but even it was a welcome cooling relief! Seriously, Nationals Destinations did an excellent job organizing and hosting the trip and I look forward to participating again in the future (I heard some talk about possibly Wrigley next year which would be fantastic……Yankee Stadium if the Nats ever go there would also be great).
