Donations

The Washington Nationals will attempt to honor all requests from non-profit organizations located within the Greater Washington, DC area (DC, MD, VA) in support of their fundraising efforts. Please refer to the guidelines listed below when making a request:

  • Only written requests will be reviewed.
  • We do not accept faxed or e-mailed requests.
  • All donation requests must be received by Community Relations at least 45 days in advance of the date of the event.
  • Please forward your written request on the organization's letterhead and include the organization's Federal Tax ID number.
  • Include a brief explanation of the event, date of event, contact name, contact phone number, complete mailing address, and a daytime phone number. (Incomplete requests will not be considered)
  • Mail your request to the following address:

  • We receive a large number of requests weekly and therefore must limit an organization's request to one per calendar year.
  • Donations of game tickets are available after April 7, 2008.
  • Our peak season to support charitable events is during the regular baseball season (April-October). Requests for events that occur during the off-season are more difficult to fill due to limited resources.
  • We are unable to donate to for-profit company programs and initiatives, including employee appreciation events, employee incentives, etc.
