Tours

The Ballpark Tour offers a behind-the-scenes experience of Nationals Park that grants up close and personal access to a ballpark visitor or event planner. Travel through luxury suites, premium clubs, the press box and the Nationals Clubhouse while learning about the history of baseball in Washington, D.C.

Tours of Nationals Park are open to the public rain or shine, and provide an entertaining mix of history, architecture and memorable stories.

Game Day Tours

Now you can explore the Park on game days too! The game day tour offers an opportunity to get behind the scenes early, before the Park opens to the Public. Offered in the morning when there is an evening game, the tour takes about an hour and includes stops in the Premium Clubs, Luxury Suites, the highest press box in Major League Baseball and an opportunity to sit in the dugout and walk on the warning track. Buy tickets online or at the Park.

Event Tours

Add a tour to your event as a unique enhancement. Depending on the location of the event within the ballpark, guides can do a modified tour to perfectly complement your outing at the Park.

Both public and private tours offer a number of "hands on" experiences such as:

  • Touching a module of the spectacular five-story HD scoreboard, sitting in the Nationals Dugout and throwing a pitch in the Nationals Bullpen.

Private tours can include the following:

  • Mascot Appearances: Schedule Screech, the official Washington Nationals mascot, or one of the four "Racing Presidents" to make a surprise entry and mingle with guests during your tour or event.
  • Scoreboard Messages: Put your name, tour group, or event in lights!

Tours last approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. Expect to walk a little over a mile. The tour is both wheelchair and stroller accessible.

For our public tours, buy tickets online here, at the ballpark Kiosks located at the Center Field Gates next to the team store, or at the Box Office during normal business hours.
