Metro is fully ADA accessible at the Navy Yard station. The new Navy Yard West Entrance located on the SE corner of M & Half Streets, SE, as well as the Navy Yard East Entrance, located on the NW corner of M Street at New Jersey Avenue, SE, are both ADA accessible.

As part of their upgrade to the West entrance, Metro has installed a brand new elevator from the platform to the mezzanine level and a brand new elevator from the mezzanine to the surface level. Also, there will be two ADA accessible fare gates on the surface level for easier exit and entry. Elevators from the Navy Yard station are located at the Half Street portal of the station, close to the Ballpark. The Center Field gate is located a half a block south on Half Street.
