KNORR RESUME: Returns for his fourth season as the Nationals' bench coach in 2015, second under Matt Williams...Is one of four former Expos on Williams' staff (Bobby Henley, Rick Schu, Tony Tarasco)...Began serving as the Nationals' bench coach under Davey Johnson during the 2012 NL East Championship season...Is in the midst of his third stint on Washington's Major League coaching staff (bullpen coach final three months of 2006, entire 2009 season)...Managed six seasons in the Nationals' Minor League system where he had a hand in the development of many of the Nationals' homegrown Major League players...Led Potomac to 2008 Carolina League title...Potomac's championship was the first captured by a Nationals domestic club since the team's D.C. arrival in 2005

PLAYING CAREER: Played 19 seasons professionally, including parts of 11 major league campaigns...a catcher by trade, played in 253 big league games for Blue Jays (1991-95), Astros (1996-97, '99), Marlins (1998), Rangers (2000) and Expos (2001)...earned World Series rings with the Blue Jays in 1992 and '93...was best known for defensive skills behind the plate.
