This will be our 5th year with season tickets.
Chase Utley , my 5 year old daughter Mya always wants to see Chase bat.
Mike Schmidt, I just loved to watch him play! He's one of the best in my book.
I love feeling the electricity in the air during playoff and World Series games! It's just awesome! Also watching my daughter, standing at the left field railing focusing on Chase Utley batting and yelling "hit it to me Chase" gave us all a good laugh in our section.
Hot dogs, of course. I love the Dollar Dog Nights.
"Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" by Big and Rich!
I'll take a pitcher's duel any day. That's true baseball baby.
The best part is the atmosphere and the fact that there is no bad seat in the house. You really feel part of the game in CBP.
I like being able to choose the games that I want to attend, seeing the other "regulars" each time we go down and of course the extras that go along with being a season ticket holder.
No, but my sister Lee got a practice ball that Raul Ibanez threw up to our section. As for home runs, we've had a lot of close calls!
I'd start Cliff Lee because he seems to have a tremendous amount of emotional composure. You would need a lot of that with the series on the line.
It was in the Vet, with my father. I don't recall specifics other than we brought binoculars and ate a ton of popcorn. I remember have a great time too and cheering a lot.
Cliff Lee (my wife's heartthrob) and I would let her come along too which would get me lots of points with her. I just like so much about Cliff. The way he acts suggest he is a likable guy with a big heart and a lot of great baseball stories!
Well, my father would always listen to the radio with the TV on and the volume way down on the TV. We all feel the need to do that sometimes still.
My father worked for Sports Illustrated for many years and traveled to spring training each year. The family went right along with him most years. I am the youngest of four, so my sisters have way more memories of this than I do, but we all grew up learning to love baseball and most importantly the Phillies. So when the opportunity came up to get season tickets I jumped on it. We absolutely love it!
A rather funny story to add - it was the night of December 18, 2010, about 9 p.m. My wife and I were on our way to the hospital to give birth to our second child Kaelyn, or baby K as we call her. My wife's cell phone rang and since it was her father she answered. Now mind you she is basically in labor a this point. She answers the phone with the expected "WHAT?" then in a magic moment her pain was momentarily forgotten as she heard her father tell her that we had re-signed Cliff Lee, and she stated "Wow, that is the best thing I could hear right now!"
