Phans Feeding Families

Special guests included Phillies' Roy Halladay*, Greg Luzinski, Tom McCarthy, Phillie Phanatic & more; Event to fight hunger in the Delaware Valley

On Sunday, August 5, 2012, Citizens Bank, The Halladay Family Foundation, and the Phillies hosted the second annual Phans Feeding Families event at Citizens Bank Park, which raised funds for local hunger relief efforts.

The kick-off to the event was an exclusive pre-game party held at the Phillies Party Tent located on Darien Street. Appearances at the tent party included pitcher Roy Halladay*, Phillies legend Greg "the Bull" Luzinski, broadcaster Tom McCarthy, the Phillie Phanatic, Phillies Ballgirls and other special guests. Plus, attendees received an autographed Roy Halladay photo card, a Phans Feeding Families limited-edition pin, and 98.1 WOGL will be on-site for the festivities.

Highlights Included:

• Admission to a pre-game Party taking place at the Phillies Party Tent (11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.). Includes buffet menu, beer, and soft drinks.
• Game ticket with other supporters in the Pavilion Deck (Sections 307-309) to see the Phillies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks at 1:35 p.m.
• Appearances at the tent party from Roy Halladay*, broadcaster Tom McCarthy, the Phillie Phanatic, Phillies Ballgirls and other special guests.
• Each attendee will receive a Phans Feeding Families pin.
• Food collection to benefit Philabundance. Please bring your donation items to the Phillies Party Tent. Recommendations include: plastic jars of peanut butter and jelly, canned tuna, pasta or ravioli.
• Net proceeds benefit Philabundance.
