Perhaps effectively erratic -- he uncorked a team record four wild pitches in the contest -- Daniel Cabrera showed vast improvement from his last outing in which he lasted only 2 1/3 frames, but his six solid innings and Ryan Zimmerman's two-run first-inning homer were not enough for the Nats.
