Marlins 7, Nationals 3
Tim Redding threw 103 pitches on Friday night. (Pablo Martinez Monsivais/AP)
Tim Redding was not sharp on Friday night, only going 5 1/3 innings and the Nationals were never able to mount a serious threat against Ricky Nolasco and the Marlins bullpen as they lost at home. Wily Mo Pena, Cristian Guzman and Nick Johnson all had RBIs.
