Redding burned by homers
Giants 5, Nationals 0
Tim Redding tied his season high by pitching seven innings. (Eric Risberg/AP)
Tim Redding not only found himself the 447th pitcher to give up a homer to Barry Bonds, he became the first to surrender one to Giants pitcher Matt Cain. The Nationals got just one runner into scoring position against the right-hander as well, while Redding gave up a season-high four runs.
