Lopez falls shy, but plays hero
Offense stifled in finale
Southpaw Chuck James left after 5 1/3 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits. He left the tying run on second, which opened a two-run inning that put the Braves in a hole. Chipper Jones hit a two-run shot in the fourth, but the offense couldn't get it going late.
