Nick Hundley hit a three-run home run and Eric Stults allowed one run in 6 1/3 innings as the Padres defeated the D-backs, 4-1, before a crowd of 15,869 at Petco Park. Hundley snapped a 1-1 tie with two outs in the sixth inning with his 12th homer of the year, a shot to left off the Western Metal Supply Co. building, that followed singles by Chase Headley and Tommy Medica.
