Nationals trim roster to 30
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

The Washington Nationals today reassigned infielder D'Angelo Jimenez, left-handed pitcher Mike Bacsik and catcher Juan Brito to Minor League camp. Nationals Vice President and General Manager Jim Bowden made the announcements.

With these moves, the Nationals now have 30 players in big-league camp. In addition, right-handed pitcher Luis Ayala, outfielder Alex Escobar, first baseman Nick Johnson and left-handed pitcher Mike O'Connor are expected to begin the season on the disabled list.

Three Nationals pitchers clear waivers and are assigned outright to Triple-A Columbus

The Nationals today announced that left-handed pitcher Billy Traber, right-handed pitcher Tim Redding and right-handed pitcher Jermaine Van Buren have cleared waivers and been assigned outright to Columbus of the Triple-A International League. Nationals Vice President and General Manager Jim Bowden made the announcement.
