Nationals to reopen team store
Season ticket deposit receipt resumes
tickets for any Major League Baseball game
The Washington Nationals will reopen the official team store and resume accepting season ticket deposits tomorrow, Wednesday, December 22. The team will also display two official home and road jerseys at the Nationals Team Store.

  • The Nationals Team Store, the official place for all team merchandise needs, will be open on Wednesday and Thursday, December 23, from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and from 8:00 a.m. until 12 noon on Christmas Eve Day. It will be closed Christmas Day and December 26, and will open again on Monday, December 27, and begin operating on a non-holiday schedule with hours of Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Replica home jerseys in both adult and youth sizes will go on sale tomorrow when the doors open. The store also features a wide variety of hats, sweatshirts, and t-shirts, as well as novelties and extensive clothing lines for ladies, infants, and children. Team merchandise is also available online at www.nationals.com.

  • The Nationals Team Jerseys, which will be on display in the team store, incorporate the team's colors of red, white, and blue, and capture the traditional and timeless qualities of the team's home town.

"Washington, DC, is a historic and patriotic city, so it was imperative that these traits be reflected in one of the most visible aspects of our team -- the home and road uniforms," said Tony Tavares, Nationals president. "The uniform jerseys are worn by both players and fans, so they also had to be designed in a way that the wearer can proudly represent our area, our sport, and our ballclub."

The Home Jersey is white, piped at the collar and neck with red and blue. The word "Nationals" appears in a semi arched style across the front in red letters beveled in metallic gold and outlined in navy blue. The players' numbers will be placed in a traditional block style on the lower left chest. The back of the uniform sports two color names in red and gold, with a navy block style number. The back of the jersey will also feature a navy and gold silhouetted batter, the official Major League Baseball logo that is uniquely colored on each team's uniform.

The Road Jersey is a traditional cool gray, button down style. The lettering of the word "Washington" appears in navy beveled in metallic gold and outlined in red. The numbers, players' names and batter silhouette are similar to the Home Jersey with a dominance of navy replacing the red. The left sleeve features a navy, circular patch containing the words "Washington Nationals" and a white/gold ligature of the initials "DC" on a red field.

  • Season Ticket Deposits: The Nationals will resume accepting season ticket deposits tomorrow.
