  • Homestand Highlights for Monday, April 27 - Thursday, May 7, 2015

    The Cardinals are back at Busch for the longest homestand of the season - an 11-game stretch which kicks off with a four-game series with the Philadelphia Phillies and continues with a three-game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates and a four-game series with the Chicago Cubs.

  • Cardinals place Adam Wainwright on 15-day DL; catcher Cody Stanley recalled

    The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that right-handed pitcher Adam Wainwright will be placed on the 15-day disabled list with an injury to his left Achilles and left ankle. Catcher Cody Stanley has been recalled from Memphis (AAA).

  • Cardinals Announce Schedule for 6th Annual Green Week at Busch

    After kicking off Green Week activities on Earth Day with an E-Cycling and General Donations Drive, the Cardinals have released the full schedule of events for the 6th annual Green Week (#4AGreenerGame) at Busch happening Monday, April 27 through Thursday, April 30.     ST. LOUIS, April 21, 2015 - In celebration of the 45th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22, the St. Louis Cardinals will host its 6th annual Green Week (#4aGreenerGame) April 27 through April 30, with activities designed to promote recycling, both inside and outside of Busch Stadium.

    Third baseman Matt Carpenter of the St. Louis Cardinals has been named National League Player of the Week for the week of April 13th-19th. The announcement was made earlier today on MLB Network.

  • Cardinals disable OF Grichuk; INF Anna recalled from Memphis

    The St. Louis Cardinals announced prior to tonight's game that they have placed outfielder Randal Grichuk (lower back strain) on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 17, and have recalled left-handed hitting infielder Dean Anna from Memphis (AAA).

    It was seventy years ago today that Albert "Red" Schoendienst began his remarkable career in Major League Baseball. The St. Louis Cardinals are marking the milestone by honoring Red with a special pre-game ceremony prior to tonight's game against the Reds. In addition, the team is launching a season-long campaign encouraging fans to demonstrate their affection for Red by sharing a video message via social media using the hashtag #LoveRed2.
