    The Los Angeles Dodgers today announced the signings of Cuban infielder Hector Olivera to a six-year contract and Cuban right-handed pitcher Pablo Fernandez to a minor league deal. To make room for Olivera on the 40-man roster, Los Angeles designated left-handed pitcher Eury De La Rosa for assignment.

    The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) announced today its 2015 Dodgers RBI Opening Day for the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation which will take place at Franklin D. Roosevelt Park, 7600 Graham Avenue in Los Angeles, Saturday, May 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Dodger Manager Don Mattingly will attend the Dodgers RBI Opening Day and share brief remarks. Through his charity, Mattingly Charities, he will contribute batting gloves, metal bats and bat bags to this season's Dodgers RBI program. More than 400 participants are expected to attend and Dodger alumni Al Downing and Lee Lacy will partake.
