Stars set for Postseason Survivor Competition
Final celebrity standing in pick 'em contest wins $10,000 toward charity of choice
They're all in.
Now's your chance to play alongside a contingent of stars from stage, screen and field who have signed on be part of MLB.com's Postseason Survivor Competition.
Every day, this panel will make one pick until they're eliminated by choosing the wrong team. The person who survives the longest will win $10,000 toward the charity of their choice. If everybody remaining on the panel happens to choose incorrectly on any given day, then everybody left will advance to pick another day until there is one winner.
You can follow along as celebrities such as stand-up comedian George Lopez and future Hall of Famer Chipper Jones make their postseason picks. Dean Norris, famous for playing Hank Schrader on Breaking Bad, will also play along game by game.
In addition to Jones, former big leaguers Frank Thomas, Jack Morris and Jeff Nelson among others, are part of the panel. Actress Melissa Joan Hart, known for her work on Clarissa Explains It All, will have a chance to break down the playoff tree day by day.
Actors Nick Turturro and Adam Carolla are also part of the Survivor pool, and so are NBC television personality Willie Geist and longtime sportscaster and radio host Pat O'Brien.
Starting Thursday and rolling all the way through the end of the playoffs, fans can follow along on Twitter @mlb and choose sides as their favorite celebrities cast allegiance to the day's best bet. Fans will win prizes daily during the postseason by supporting any of our panel's picks on Twitter.
