Today it was announced that Romeo Santos will have a second show at Yankee Stadium on Friday, July 11. The additional concert is a result of the overwhelming demand during yesterday's ticket on-sale for the previously-announced show on Saturday, July 12.

Tickets for the July 11 concert will go on sale to the general public beginning on Thursday, April 3, at 10:00 a.m., online at www.ticketmaster.com, via charge-by-phone at (800) 745-3000 and via TTY at (800) 943-4327. Should tickets remain available following this initial on-sale, they may also be purchased at the Yankee Stadium Box Office beginning on Friday, April 4, at 9:00 a.m.

Yankees full- and partial-season ticket licensees, Yankees Universe members, Yankees Group Leaders and Yankees.com/Yankeesbeisbol.com subscribers will have the opportunity to take part in a special pre-on-sale beginning on Wednesday, April 2, the details of which can be found at www.yankees.com/romeo.

Members of the Romeo Fan Club, along with radio listeners of La Mega (WSKQ-FM-97.9), can also take part in a unique pre-on-sale of their own beginning on Wednesday, April 2. For more information, contact Latin Events, LLC, at (212) 923-3737.

Ticket prices are subject to change based on date/time of purchase. There will be no price adjustments for prior ticket purchases.

Known by many of his fans as the "King of Bachata," Santos released his latest studio album, Formula, Vol. 2, worldwide on February 25. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's "Top Latin Albums" chart, establishing the genre's largest sales week over the last eight years. The Bronx native's previous studio album, Formula, Vol. 1, received a 2013 Grammy nomination for Best Tropical Album and was the first Latin musical release in the last 18 years to produce five No. 1 singles.

The current Yankee Stadium has hosted some of the biggest names in music, while taking its place as one of the most important venues on the worldwide concert circuit. Last year, JAY Z and Justin Timberlake played at Yankee Stadium on July 19 and 20, during their Legends of Summer tour. In 2012, Madonna's MDNA world tour made two stops at Yankee Stadium on September 6 and 8, and Roger Waters, co-founder and principal songwriter of Pink Floyd, brought his production of The Wall to the Stadium on July 6 and 7. Other musical artists to perform at the venue include legendary Beatle Paul McCartney on July 15 and 16, 2011, Metallica on September 14, 2011, and Eminem on September 13 and 14, 2010.
