MLB to Commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Fenway Park with the Ultimate Red Sox Viewing Party at the MLB Fan Cave

Hall of Famer Jim Rice & Wally the Green Monster to Visit MLB Fan Cave Today
As part of the 100th anniversary celebration of Fenway Park on Friday, April 20th, Major League Baseball will host a special viewing party for the historic New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox game. The Ultimate Red Sox Viewing Party presented by ‘47 Brand, which will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the MLB Fan Cave in Greenwich Village, will give Red Sox fans in attendance the opportunity to have an exclusive experience at the party. Fans are encouraged to RSVP via firstname.lastname@example.org (first come, first served). Some passes to the party and other prizes also will be given away on Twitter through @RedSox, @MLB, @MLBFanCave and @fortysevenbrand.
Red Sox fans in New York unable to secure tickets for the event are still encouraged to visit the MLB Fan Cave on Friday, as an extensive retail space will be set up for the first time ever at the Fan Cave, featuring copies of the 100th anniversary book, Fenway Park: 100 Years, signed by David Ortiz, special ’47 Brand 100th anniversary merchandise and other items available for purchase.
Hall of Famer Jim Rice and Wally the Green Monster will be at the Fan Cave today to give away tickets to the viewing party. Fans visiting the MLB Fan Cave today between noon-2pm ET also will have the opportunity to take pictures with Rice, Wally and the 2004 and 2007 World Series Trophies.
The select group of fans attending the party on Friday will receive a significant gift package including pair of tickets to a future Red Sox game, authenticated dirt from Fenway Park and a commemorative 100th anniversary T-Shirt. Guitarist Jon Butcher also will perform the National Anthem on a Fender custom-designed Fenway Park 100th Anniversary guitar at the MLB Fan Cave as part of the Fan Cave’s festivities.
The MLB Fan Cave is a unique event space at 4th & Broadway in New York City’s Greenwich Village mixing baseball with music, popular culture, media, interactive technology and art. Supported by MLB Advanced Media, the MLB Fan Cave also serves as a social media and online content hub providing fans with a constant flow of online video and conversation via social media. In its first year, more than 170 MLB players and celebrities visited the MLB Fan Cave and created more than 300 online videos.
