Castillo to miss two games with strain
Infielder injures left shoulder diving for ball in Saturday's game
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Nationals third baseman Jose Castillo is expected to miss two games after he suffered a strained left shoulder during Saturday's 7-5 victory over the Mets.
Castillo hurt his shoulder in the bottom of the seventh inning diving for a ball hit by Wilmer Flores. Castillo grabbed his shoulder and was on the ground for several minutes before leaving the game and being replaced by Kory Casto.
"It's going to be a couple of days before he can swing a bat," Nationals manager Manny Acta said. "He really jammed his shoulder when he hit the ground, but the shoulder is not dislocated."
