Langerhans exits Wednesday's game
Outfielder experiences lower back tightness after pinch hitting
WASHINGTON -- Nationals outfielder Ryan Langerhans left Wednesday's game against the Mets with right side-lower back tightness. He is listed as day-to-day.
Langerhans entered the game in the fifth inning as a pinch-hitter for right-hander Jesus Colome and struck out. Langerhans didn't appear to be hurt as he went into the dugout.
Langerhans has been a valuable reserve this season, hitting .257 with a home run and six RBIs.
