MLB.com Account Information

  1. Where can I find additional support or customer service?

    If your question isn't answered here, please check the other sections of the FAQs or visit the MLB.TV Support Forum. You can also contact our Customer Service Department.

  2. How do I create an MLB.com account?

    To create an account, click on the word Register in the horizontal bar at the top or bottom of most MLB.com pages. On the "Login or Register" page, select "I don't have an MLB.com account", and complete the requested fields. The email address and password you enter will be used for future Logins. Before you click Login, make sure to double-check the spelling of your e-mail address and remember that your password is case sensitive.

  3. I had a subscription to MLB.TV, MLB.TV Premium, MLB.com Gameday Audio, or Postseason.TV in a previous season. Do I need to create a new account?

    No, you should sign in as an existing account holder. If you do not remember your password, you can click on the Forgot Your Password link. If your e-mail address or any other information has changed, you can update your account once you have logged in by clicking on My Profile.

  4. How do I change the e-mail address associated with my MLB.com account?

    If you would like to change the email address associated with your MLB.com account, click on "Profile" after logging in through the "Login" button on the top right of most MLB.com pages. This will bring you to your Profile Page.

    In the "Account Information" section of the My Profile page that opens once you have logged in, click on the "Change" link above your e-mail address on the top of the page. In the window that opens, enter your new e-mail address and click "Save Email".

  5. How do I change the password associated with my MLB.com account?

    If you would like to change the password of your MLB.com account, click on "Profile" after logging in through the "Login" button on the top right of most MLB.com pages. This will bring you to your Profile Page. On this page, click on "Change" next to where it says "Password".




    In the window that opens up, enter your current password and the new password, in their requested boxes. Type your new password in both the "New Password" and "Confirm Password" boxes to make sure that you have spelled each correctly and that the password boxes match. Your new password must be six to fifteen characters long, and contain only numbers and/or letters. Then click Save Password.




    Once you have saved the new password, you can use it to log in to MLB.com.

  6. How do I change the nickname associated with my MLB.com account?

    "If you would like to change the nickname associated with your MLB.com account, click on "Profile" after logging in through the "Login" button on the top right of most MLB.com pages. This will bring you to your Profile Page."

    In the My Profile page that opens once you have logged in or clicked on the "My Account" link, under the "Personal Information" section, click on the "Change" link to the right of where it says "Nickname" in the middle section of the page. In the window that opens, enter the new nickname you would like and then click "Save Nickname".

  7. What should I do if I forget my password?

    If you forgot your MLB.com account password, click on the "Login" button on the top right of most MLB.com pages. Then click on the "Forgot Your Password?" link in the Login window.

    On the following page, enter the email address associated with your MLB.com account for us to send you a new password. Check your email for the password that we have sent you. Use this new password to log in to MLB.com. After logging in, we recommend changing the password to one that you would prefer.




  8. I clicked "Forgot Your Password" and did not receive a new password e-mail.

    If you have a spam filter enabled on your e-mail account, then the e-mail with your new password may have been marked as spam. Check your spam folder for the email. If there was a typo in your e-mail address when you signed up or you no longer have access to the e-mail address associated with your MLB.com account, than you should send an e-mail to passwordhelp@website.mlb.com or call Customer Support toll free in the U.S. at (866) 800-1275.

  9. How can I subscribe or unsubscribe to e-mail newsletters and alerts?

    Log in to your MLB.com account. If you already logged in, select "Email Subscriptions" from the drop down menu on the top right of most MLB.com pages. On the Email Subscriptions page click "Update". From the next page, you can select the newsletters you would like to receive. When you are finished, click on the "Save Subscriptions" button to update your newsletter preferences.

  10. How can I save or update my billing information?

    In your MLB.com Profile, you can save, change and update your Payment Profile, which stores billing information. To access your Payment Profile, log in to your MLB.com account by clicking on "Login" on the top right of all MLB.com pages. After logging in, click on "Payment Profile".

    This will bring you to the "Payment Profile" section of your account profile. Enter your billing information and then click "Save Payment Profile". If you would like to save information for an additional credit or debit card, click on "Create New" on the top right of the page and enter that card's information. If you are a current subscriber to an MLB.com product with automatic renewal (e.g. MLB.TV Monthly or MLB.TV Yearly), you will be required to acknowledge that your additional payment cards saved in your MLB.com profile may be charged for your subscription product if the primary card you have on file fails for some reason (e.g. it is expired). If you do not wish for us to use this payment information in this manner, please do not save this payment information in your Payment Profile. To finalize the update to your Payment Profile, click "Save Payment Profile". Each billing option can be distinguished by using the "Label" field.

    If you are an active MLB.TV Monthly subscriber, and would like a different credit card to be charged on your next billing period, please update your primary card information on the Payment Profile Page.

  11. I am the recipient of an MLB.TV Gift Subscription, how can I upgrade my account to MLB.TV Premium?

    If someone purchased a basic MLB.TV Gift Subscription for you, and you would like to purchase an upgrade to an MLB.TV Premium account, you can do so at http://mlb.com/giftupgrade.

  12. How can I upgrade my MLB.TV subscription to an MLB.TV Premium subscription?

    To upgrade your MLB.TV subscription to an MLB.TV Premium subscription, go to MLB.TV/upgrade, log in to the MLB.com account associated with your MLB.TV subscription if you are not already logged in, and enter the requested information in the upgrade purchase form. After clicking on the Buy Now button, your subscription will be upgraded to an MLB.TV Premium subscription. .
