03/28/2011 4:05 PM ET

The Washington Nationals will host the 2011 NatsFest on Wednesday, March 30 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. rain or shine. The annual fan appreciation festival will be held the day before Opening Day and features plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for fans of all ages.

In the event of inclement weather, the Meet and Greet opportunity with Nationals players and coaches will be held along the covered area on the concourse level of the ballpark, while registration for Race the Racing Presidents will continue, though the actual race will take place at a later date. Additional activities will be re-located indoors as necessary. For a complete list of events, please see the attached release.

Gates open to the general public at 4:00 p.m. and the first 5,000 fans will receive a free curly "W" slingbag. Nationals season ticket holders will have exclusive access to a Q&A session featuring Nationals players, coaches and executives beginning at 3:30 p.m. and must bring their NatsFest tickets (located in their season ticket book) to gain early entry into Nationals Park starting at 3:00 p.m.

Tickets for this year's NatsFest cost $10 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation. Tickets may be purchased online at or by visiting the Nationals Park Main Box Office (Half and N Streets, SE).
