  • Meet Reds Hall of Famer George Foster

    Reds Hall of Fame, Palace of the Fans Theater

    Don't miss this opportunity to meet Reds Hall of Famer and 1977 NL MVP George Foster at the Reds Hall of Fame! A two-time World Champion with the Big Red Machine, Foster belted 52 home runs and drove in 149 RBIs en route to his NL MVP title in 1977. He will meet and take questions from fans prior to the game on Sunday, May 21, as well as pose for photos with fans and a World Series trophy. Starting at 11:30 am, Foster will take questions from fans for approximately 45 minutes, followed by a photo opp with him and the trophy. Twenty lucky fans will have the opportunity to win one (1) autographed photo from George. No additional autographs will be permitted.

    Admission to the Q&A is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Each paid attendee will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win an autographed item from George.

    Meet 1999 NL Rookie of the Year Scott Williamson


    Don't miss this opportunity to meet Oklahoma native and former Cincinnati Reds pitcher, Scott Williamson! Williamson was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 9th round of the 1997 amateur draft. After signing, Williamson pitched for the Cincinnati Reds from 1997 to 2003, and was then named the National League's Rookie of the Year in 1999.

    Event admission is $10 for Hall of Fame members and $25 for non-members. The price includes one autograph per person. Additional autographs are $5 for members and $10 for non-members.

    Attendees may place food and drink orders off LaRosa's menu.

    Don't miss this opportunity to meet Cincinnati Red and 1983-1987 leaderboard representative, Ted Power! Currently, Ted is the bullpen coach for the Reds team. However, during his years as a player for the Reds, Ted finished third in the National League (NL) in 1985 for most saves with a total of 27. Two years later in 1987, Ted was ranked 16th in the National League for strikeouts at 133. Following dinner, Ted will tell stories about his past time as a baseball player, these stories will be prompted with questions from Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame Executive Director Rick Walls.

    Questions and Answer session and photo opportunity will follow dinner at the event.

    "Bobblehead Luncheon" with Reds Hall of Famer Ron Oester
    Benefitting the Reds Hall of Fame Crosley Field Remembered Project and the City Gospel Mission


    Join Reds Hall of Famer Ron Oester for the third luncheon in a special series at the former site of Crosley Field, home of the Reds from 1912 - 1970. Oester will take questions, tell stories, and tour the Crosley Field site with attendees. Tickets are $39 per person, and include a specially prepared lunch menu and an autographed Ron Oester bobblehead, as well as the opportunity to meet Oester and take photos.

    A Cincinnati native and Withrow High School graduate, Oester played his entire 13-year major league career as a Red. A key player off the bench for the 1990 World Champion Reds, Oester scored the winning run in Game 6 of the NLCS to clinch against the Pirates. A 1987 Hutch award winner, he retired after the 1990 season and went on to coach for the Reds at the major league level for six seasons.

    This is the third event in an exclusive luncheon series featuring Reds Hall of Fame players who will be honored with a bobblehead by the museum this summer. Future speakers include Dave Parker and George Foster. The series benefits the Reds Hall of Fame's Crosley Remembered Project and the City Gospel Mission.

    Don't miss this opportunity to meet Reds Hall of Famer and one of the most intimidating hitters of his era, outfielder Dave "The Cobra" Parker! As the first major free agent acquisition in Reds history, Parker was signed by the club in December of 1983. Following the year of his signing, he was recognized as the Reds team Most Valuable Player each season from 1984 to 1986. Parker was also a two-time National League All-Star, a two-time Sporting News All-Star and was the winner of two Silver Slugger Awards during his Reds career. He will be at Jax Tavern for dinner, following the meal Parker will tell stories about his past time as a baseball player, as well as take questions. The event is emceed by Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame Executive Director Rick Walls.

    Crosley Field, home of the Reds from 1912 - 1970. Foster will take questions, tell stories, and tour the Crosley Field site with attendees. Tickets are $39 per person, and include a specially prepared lunch menu and an autographed George Foster bobblehead, as well as the opportunity to meet Foster and take photos.

    Traded by the San Francisco Giants to the Reds in 1971, George Foster played for the Red's AAA club in Indianapolis until he came into his own and took over the starting left fielder position in May following Pete Rose's shift to third base. This shift to create space for Foster helped kick-start the Reds from their .500 start to a 108 win season. Soon to be two-time World Champion with the Big Red Machine, Foster belted 52 home runs and drove in 149 RBI's en route to his NL MVP title in 1977.

    This is the event in an exclusive luncheon series featuring Reds Hall of Fame players who will be honored with a bobblehead by the museum this summer. This event is the bobblehead luncheon wrap up and will benefit the Reds Hall of Fame's Crosley Remembered Project and the City Gospel Mission.
